My Thoughts About Teaching

All around the world, many teachers aim to learn and adopt the best approaches and methods which can allow them to provide the best learning experiences for their students. Teachers should be open to learn new methodologies and techniques and experiment with them which might lead to continuous changes in their philosophy of teaching. I observed about 65 hours in the senior year in a real classroom and this year is my second year of teaching in grade two. I've learned lots of things from practicing what I've learned in my undergraduate years. I came out with my own philosophy of teaching, and of the practices of skillful teachers to meet the needs of their students. A good teacher is a captain whose job is to sail with his/her learners to the safe shore of treasure islands. A good teacher should act as a ship-master who leads, guides, monitors, foresees, adjusts, develops new ways, and ensures the passengers’ safety.
